Mow Managers Houston

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Managed Mowing

Locked-in mow day. Same crew rolls up the same morning every week — mow, line-trim, edge, blow clean. One flat price, no add-on surprises.

The core of what we do. You pick a mow day; we lock it in. The same two-person crew shows up the same morning every week — weather permitting — with sharp blades and a checklist. Mow, line-trim around fences and posts, edge the walks and drives, blow concrete clean before we leave. One flat rate billed per visit or per month. We adjust cut height by season so the lawn keeps moisture through August and never gets scalped in October.

  • Edging & Trimming

Power-edged borders that stay sharp the full week. String-trim around fences, posts, and trees a mower cannot reach.

Every weekly visit includes deliberate edges along beds, walks, and drives, and careful trim work around obstacles. We finish with a backpack blower so the patio and street are clean before we drive away.

  • Bush & Bed Service

Add-on for managed-mowing customers. Hand-pull weeds, refresh mulch, prune ornamentals on a schedule that matches each plant.

A subscription add-on for our weekly customers. Hand-pulled weeds, seasonal pruning timed to each plant rather than the calendar, and a mulch top-up every spring. We touch the beds on a recurring rotation so you never have to call and ask for it.

  • Seasonal Cleanups

The Katy two: a March reset before St. Augustine wakes up, and a December clear-out after the live oak drop. Bagged and hauled.

Spring: cut back perennials, blow out beds, fresh edge, light mulch refresh, and a soil check before the heat. Fall and early winter: clear oak and sycamore drop, bag and haul, prep beds for the dormant months. Customers on the weekly route get priority booking.

  • Sprinkler Tune-Ups

Spring start-up, summer adjustments, fall blow-out — and we fix the head you keep meaning to call about.

Seasonal start-up and shutdown, head replacements, broken-line repairs, controller programming for the summer climb, and a walk-through with you to make sure every zone is hitting what it should. Critical when Katy hits 95° and the back-corner zone has been short-coverage for two months.

  • Mulch Installation

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at 2 to 3 inches so beds look fresh and the weeds give up.

Bulk-delivered or bagged, hand-spread to a consistent depth around plants and trees with a clean edge against the lawn. We pull last year’s clumped mulch first if it needs it. Most weekly customers do this once a year in March.

  • Sod Installation

St. Augustine, Bermuda, or Zoysia — graded, laid, rolled, and a printed watering schedule for the gulf-coast heat.

Soil prep, light grading, fresh sod laid in a brick-pattern with tight seams, rolled in, and a printed watering schedule built for Houston humidity. We come back at week two to check root contact.

  • One-Time Yard Reset

Selling the house? Tenants left it rough? We can do a one-shot cleanup without the weekly subscription.

Mostly we do recurring work, but we will run a one-time crew through if a property has gotten away from you. Mow down to a healthy height, edge, beds blown out, debris hauled. After that you can decide whether to put it on the weekly route.

Starts at $180 · per visit

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
